One of the most popular holiday retreats on the map of any tourist, Shimla is truly a heaven in disguise. An exemplary example of nature’s artwork, Shimla is a haven, which is known for its picturesque snowcapped peaks and a verdant pristine landscape layered with tall pine, ebony and deodar forests. While Shimla is a popular holiday destination in itself, it is dotted by quite a few equally exciting hill stations that you can drive down to and stay in one of the cottages near Shimla:
